Endovascular Training opportunity

If you are a Senior Vascular Trainee/Non training grade doctor or a recent CCT holder, there is an excellent opportunity available to get training in Endovascular Skills to become an independent operator, working as a Middle Grade( in the pay scale of a Specialty Doctor) or as a Locum Consultant( in NHS Locum Consultant Payscale ) with two Vascular Consultant Surgeons trained in Vascular Interventions.
The opportunities include:
About three sessions every week in the Interventional room with Surgeon led Angio lists as first assistant or primary operator under supervision
Surgeon led standard Infrarenal EVAR service
Hybrid procedures in theatre.
The range of procedures for training includes
All lower limb angioplasties and stenting including CERAB, TASC C and D Aortoiliac, Femoropopliteal and Tibial angioplasties, Retrograde Access,
Fistuloplasties, Embolisation and Visceral Angioplasties.
A limited amount of open surgery experience is available including Carotid Surgery, a few bypasses and amputations. Ours is a mainly Endovascular, Local anaesthetic and day case / 23-hour stay based practice.
